BLOCK 1 - 6:00pm-8:00pm






“My License”

A young girl receives her new license, much to her father's dismay.

“A.B.S”

This is a short horror film that will follow young Ester as she enters the murky waters of middle school.'

“La Femme”

A story can be expressed through words, songs, acting and dance. Bodies dancing can be as moving as words. La femme tells the story of women claiming their feminine power.

“Closer Apart”

An intimate portrait of two sisters who come together in the wake of their mother's impending death and are forced to confront the secret that tore their family apart.

“Cabby”

A lonely cab driver tries to connect with people in the busy city of Beijing.

“The 7th”

On a young girl’s 7th birthday, her father is coming home after a long absence to take her away from her mother...

“California Women Win the Vote!”

Using both historical materials and live re-enactments, this film presents the dramatic suffrage campaign that won the Women of California the Right to Vote nine years before the Federal amendment.



BLOCK 2 - 8:00pm-10:00pm





“Mini Animation”

Over 100 photographs, which would be the base for the story line, were combined with hand drawn illustrations done on A5 paper, and were then animated.

“Escape”

Escape is a poetic fable, about a young girl, trapped within her own skin, who finds freedom though an illusory metamorphosis.

Haven’s Point”

On Halloween night the new girl in school is given an offer she can't refuse

“Farewell Exile”

In an impoverished neighborhood of Casablanca, Morocco, Fatima awaits impatiently for news from her husband in exile. Will she finally receive the immigration papers that will potentially secure a brighter future for her and her son Mohammed?

“Treading Water”

When Marion’s father passes away she inherits the position of caretaker of her estranged mentally unstable sister, Franny.

“Paying For It”

While on a weekend getaway with her boyfriend, 18-year-old Deidre discovers a call girl passed out in their hotel hallway.

“Ready To Talk”

A school massacre plunges a community into mourning and compels them to come together to pick up the pieces.

“The Astral Woman”

A woman finds her way through darkness and sheds light upon a hidden secret.

“Dreamland”

Samir is a 12 year-old boy who simply wants to play soccer with his friends, but there's a war in his way.

“Dead Inside”

Sarah, a mentally disturbed teen, has a jarring premonition of her friends' impending deaths one night at a sleepover.

“Rebekah Starr Band - Irrational Boy”

The Rebekah Starr Band, channel their inner studio wrestling alter-egos to defeat a mystery adversary. Using graphic 80's wrestling moves, this fun and colorful video features a surprise celebrity cameo by screen legend Ron Jeremy.

“Daddy Called Me A Snake”

Based on the artist's experience as the oldest daughter of a conservative Korean man.

“Flawless Life”

One day a homeless guy finds something that changes his life!

“The Perfect Fit”

The Perfect Fit is the story of five women who meet by chance in a vintage clothing store, each searching for something important.

“The Umpire”

When professional baseball's only female umpire, Billie Satriano, is asked to investigate the disappearance of a senior umpire suspected of corrupt activities, she finds herself torn between her family of officials and the game she so loves.

“The Pink Room”

The Pink Room follows the journey of Mien and other young girls in the turbulent world of sex slavery that at times seems unfathomable








BLOCK 3 - 10:00pm-12:00am







“Straight Up”

A fun and colorful music video where a word play of the song title creates a surreal journey for the singer, who will find her strength as a woman.

“Mother’s Milk”

The story of a young girl who must learn to take care of her ailing family in the Vietnamese countryside.

“Yogawoman”

Yoga was brought to the west from India by a lineage of male teachers. Now there's a generation of women who are leading the way. They're strong, they're inspiring, and they're radically changing people's lives.
